Bright raspberry on the nose with a subtle shitake mushroom, dark cherry and fresh plum on the palate with a hint of cardamon, finishing on a touch of bay leaf.
Winemaker Notes: The nose presents rich black cherry with a delicate minerality, bright plum and milk chocolate on the palate, finishes with a touch of espresso and vanilla.

Composition: 65% Grenache / 30% Syrah / 5% Viognier
Co-Fermentation: This wine is a blend of one co-fermentation with Grenache/Syrah/Viongier, one co-fermenation with Grenache/Syrah & all the part fermented seperately and blended together prior to bottling.
Tasting Notes:
This dark red colored Grenache based blend from Cantadora opens with black plum, graphite and lilac bouquet with hints cassis and cinnamon.
Winemaker Notes: This wine is a co-fermentation project in that I co-fermented the Mourvedre with the Syrah and fermented the Mourvedre separately, then aged those apporaches to fermentation in separate barrel groups and tasted them to see what turned out the best.
The blend of these two is a surprising and elegant combination.
