2025 Olivia Brion "Taquine" White Blend
Prior Vintage - 93pts WE

Winemaker's Notes:

The foundation of this beautiful white wine is the harmonious blend of two aromatic Italian Grape varietals and one incredible growing site for white wines. Falanghina and Cortese are both grown by second-generation farmers in the Clarksburg AVA on the Sacramento River Delta. This region is known for Chenin Blanc, another aromatic white. Falanghina has searing acidity and luscious white floral undertones. Cortese has a honeysuckly character with pronounced citrus. Together, these grapes blend to create a wine that is aromatic, bright, and thirst quenching. Just try to stop drinking this all summer long!

Tasting Notes:

The wine enters with verbose aromatics of fresh honeysuckle flower, candied orange blossom and a touch of key lime pie. This wine brightens the palate with a high arc of acidity tempered by pleasing viscosity and a subtle creaminess. The only thing that would make this wine better is a plate full of freshly shucked Kumamoto oysters.
